8 Mile By Mike Fortuna  I went into this movie expecting Cool as Ice. Well, its pretty much what I got. The only white rapper trying to make it in a world of black dudes. Eminem, as I see him, is really just Vanilla Ice without the mistakes. They figured that if Vanilla Ice failed so horribly, then to prosper they would have to go completely opposite. And it worked. Overall the movie is depressing. Just sitting there watching all this bad shit happen. And for some reason, everyone raps and rhymes. Youd think you were watching Dolemite but without the goodness. It was funny though, how Eminem used this movie to completely make himself look badass. In one scene, he helps out a gay dude with his power of rap. Most likely to give a “fuck you” to all those who say he is a gay basher. Interestingly enough, in the next scene, Eminen is fucking some girl, to affirm his straightness. Otherwise the movie didn’t have too much to it. Just Eminem hyping himself up really. What more would you expect from a rapper?
