Adaptation By Mike Morelli 
Charlie Kaufman, one of the most creative writers working in Hollywood today, brilliantly wrote Adaptation about himself and his fake twin Donald. The story follows his path through adapting the novel the Orcid Theif and then it takes the viewer on a ride through the writing process itself. You see the evolution of time, the green orcid coke, and even how the beginning of the movie was first theorized. Charlie Kaufman goes on a crazy adventure, one in which is told subtly and effectively (especially when there are two Nicholas Kage’s in one shot) by Spike Jonze, the director of Being John Malchovich. Nicholas Kage does do a very good job of portraying Charlie and Donald Kaufman, and, in the end…you know what, fuck it. I don’t feel like finishing this review, you get the picture, it was a good movie, I recommend it, so go see it. Thanks!
